The target audience for my production would be an age range between 15-25 based on a questionnaire i designed to see . The target audience would be between these ages of people for a few reasons. One of which is that the protagonist (a 16yr old girl) is playing a young vulnerable girl who gets taken and killed by a taxi driver. We may not all be a young vulnerable women but we may have a sister, or a friend who fits this description and we may be able to relate to her and want her to survive much like we would like our sister or friend to survive a similar experience. The target gender for the production would be female because the main character is a women who other women can relate to. A reason why i dont think my target audience would be below the ages of 15 is because it would be to graphic and scary for some viewers. There are no extremely graphic scenes e.g. blood and violence etc. Although someone gets shot by a gun you never see the bullet hit the target or any blood on the victim or culprits body. A reason why my production wouldn't be for people over the ages of 50 is because i don’t think that it would appeal to people that age and above. I think it appeals to people under the age a lot more and thats why it’s my target age.
