I have learnt so much from the prelim task. The first thing is how important it is to have a plan with you when your about to go on set and film a scene. if you dont do this it can be very hard and stressful as you'll have to think about it on the spot. in my prelim task i had a plan but no way near as much detail and perfect as my film storyboard, script and costume plan was. another thing that I've learnt is how to properly edit. this means cutting the clip at the exact right time and joining it at the right time too. i have also learnt how to add music correctly and/or any other sounds e.g. gun noises, animal noises etc. i think i have also learnt how to control actors and get them to do exactly what you say to create the perfect scene which unfortunately is what i struggled with the most in the prelim task.
