Ive learnt a lot of things about technologies during this process. One of which is how important the editing stage is. You can have bad footage but make it good with good editing or have good footage but make it bad. i learnt how to use all of the different tools and how to do different things to sound, picture and more. I have also learnt that when your filming you can purposely move the camera to and from different places to add effect or to make the audience think or feel something. The final thing I've learnt is how important it is to know what your going to film with the camera before you go out on set, it can save you loads of time and hassle if you wrote a story board or a script.
