180 degree rule - This is where

when two people are having a 

conversation and the camera doesn't go over 180 degrees around them. The blue hollow semicircle line is the only place that the camera can go and film the actors from.

 

 

The thirds rule - This is where a photo or video will be filmed and when it comes to the editing stage, you crop the photo to be inline with vertical and horizontal lines. The vertical line should be in line with the middle of the persons face and the eyes should be in line with the horizontal.
